The initial interview is held on skype followed by a mock lesson. After I passed my interview I was scheduled for demo lesson. It was a 25 minute long lesson where I had to show my teaching skills.

I was not offered an interview, but feel like I should write about my experience. The application is very simple. The unorthodox part is that it you requires you to upload a picture of yourself. Now, I have read a review that this company will only hire candidates of a certain skin colour, however, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Today, I received a rejection e-mail which suggests that I lack experience in tutoring. This is despite having a TEFL qualification, and my previous job was as an online tutor for a prestigious school. They suggested that I research into online teaching which is very condescending. One can only assume I was rejected because I am of East Asian origins. Whether or not it was intentional, I feel that discrimination is at play. It would be nice, and progressive if DaDaABC was an equal opportunities employer. Unfortunately, they are not.
