      I am still going through the process and will come back and post as the process continues. I spoke to a leadership recruiter who was very nice and seemed eager to have me succeed. The quoted salary was ridiculously low for the responsibilities but she indicated if I interviewed well, they might eb able to offer more. After 2 brief telephone chats I was scheduled for the online assessment and then scheduled for an interview with a facility hiring manager (not the facility I applied for).

      The online assessment was odd so be prepared. There are some scheduling questions, math/calculation questions, logics. Most of these can be done using a calculator and reading the graph, chart. There are grids asking about staff/patient ratios that you have to interpret. This section is timed and the questions are not always clear. You have enough time (I finished with 20 mins to spare), so think, breathe and go slowly. There is a timer. The next set of questions are behavioral: how do you make decisions, are you a leader/follower, are you a team player etc. For these the "desired" answers are pretty obvious.

      1st Was Phone interview with recruiter: They asked questions about my background, and behavioral questions. It took about 45 minutes and she took a lot of notes. 2nd Was a Panel Interview with other Facility Administrators and Group Facility Administrators. All of the questions were behavioral questions, mostly about how you have handled certain situations in the past. It is important that you are thorough with the recruiter and in your resume because the panel will have your resume pulled up and the notes from the recruiter. 3rd Was an interview with the Regional Director, which she asked behavioral questions as well as trying to get an understanding of my knowledge of the business aspect of the position. 4th I did a shadow day at the facility with the Regional Director and acting Facility Administrator. i was shown the facility and met some of the staff. Its important to have a lot of questions and get a chance to have a one on one with the Regional Director if they are their. Finally I did an interview with the VP and Director or Persons. This interview was intense, The will ask behavioral questions but they will want to know the thought process, the why and the how when you make a decision. Also they will focus on whatever shortcoming you may have and ask how you plan to overcome it.

      Was very detailed and went level to level, had to create a presentation that was given to upper management. Enjoyed the entire experience and loved the work that I did. I worked just over 2 years and enjoyed the experience.
