After the screening call with the recruiter, she emailed to ask if I was a CSW. She was verifying that I was certified but it seemed she was confused on the difference of certifications/clinical social work. The conversation resulted in her saying that she would instead like to move forward with a LCSW certification. My advice to the recruiters are to take the time to know what you are looking for and accurately reflect that on the job posting.
