A significant portion of the discussion centered around QA frameworks, regulatory approval workflows, multi-region campaign management, and consent governance between Salesforce and Marketo. There were also deep dives into database strategy, handling non-marketable records, abandoned cart workflows, and differentiating transactional versus promotional communications in a regulated environment. The conversation explored lifecycle control, campaign hierarchy alignment, and integration with GA4, showing a strong focus on operational maturity and scalability rather than just demand generation. Overall, the interview was highly conversational, scenario-based, and centered on governance, process articulation, and balancing agility with compliance in a complex digital ecosystem.
