Group interview was a waste of time. They just herd you into a room together to pick out who they like the look of best. There's very little you can do to stand out, they already know what they want and they'll frankly be pretty rude if you're not it. I was offered the position, but I declined after seeing how they treated the others there.

Submitted an application online and was emailed to come in for a group interview. On the evening, there were about 10 other applicants but the store manager made a comment saying they were expecting about 20 or so to turn up. Interview started out with a fun random question then followed by introducing yourself to another person and sharing two facts about yourself then presenting what you learnt about the other to the group. This was then followed by an activity where you were given different customer/store-based scenarios. While the group interview itself was relatively casual, the frustrating part was that in the group of applicants there were people who were friends with the store manager (and who made off-handed comments about knowing the questions that were going to be asked) so it seemed a bit obvious that they had already picked someone to hire.
