Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'altra fonte. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Databricks (Londra, Inghilterra) nel mese di ago 2020
Colloquio
Fairly standard/straight forward. Already knew some contacts in the company so talked to an internal HR directly. Dina seemed nice at first but her mannerism in the whole approach shocked me and I have been comfortable in interviews for about 6/7 years now. This was a first.
Asking questions where it shows clearly that you have no interest and displaying an aggressive attitude towards the interviewer where you dont take any questions is the last thing you want to do especially when you didn't even read the contents of the CV nor tried to match any skills that correspond directly with the position itself.
She couldn't tell me about the whole structure or the framework that the team uses but at the same time kept repeating the sentences of "I am looking for.." It's not you that is looking, it's the company and you're doing your due diligence behalf of the company/hiring manager.
Understanding that you're dealing with seniors in the industry is a must and kindly drop the slang terminologies when we have just spoken for the first time.
Great company, some amazing people yet please go over your interviewing process. The feedback even was extremely generic and again.. showed that she spent 5 seconds constructing the email by literally copying and pasting the high level spec of the job without giving any reason to WHY.
Verdict: waste of time unless you want to see how HR resources can waste other people's times and create a bad rep for the company.

Domanda 1
Incredibly stupid questions about the job/brief that the interviewer had at hand. I'm sorry but when you don't take the time to familiarize yourself with the candidates CV and ask the same exact question to "do you do this.." it's just shows how unprofessional you are when you represent the company.
