Everyone was nice but felt like a well-oiled machine, pushed right through, and during multiple calls with recruiters didn't even feel like he had time to prep me for the next steps. Made it to the final round, and fell short on the "disco call" They don't give you an avenue or products they might use, so I spent 30 plus hours learning Datadog. The confusing part was after the role-play they said they liked how I got into pain and even buss pain. I definitely didn't stay surface level. The reason I didn't get an offer they said was that I didn't dive deep enough into their mock company. Although I not only heavily researched datadog, I also spent hours researching this mock company. I don't know what I could have done differently not being trained on the product. It felt like a boys club, so if you're a girl good luck. I spent hours interviewing with them to fall short on something small to not get the job. You have to be tailored perfectly to what they want and can't even miss a beat. My advice is to not spend a lot of time on product knowledge because they don't seem to care at all. Still really not a clear answer on why they didn't move me forward as the recruiter and the post debrief contradicted themselves.
