The partnership relationship with my recruiter was key to success. The recruiter was my sidekick and designed a process where I could fully express my potential. The process in itself consisted of the following: - Code screening interview: 2 coding problems (easy/mid). Note that you can run the code as much as you want and even google some function names if needed. - Open source project submission: I submitted a link to one of my open source projects; a datadog engineer reviewed the code and provided relevant feedback. - Coding round: A 1-hour peer coding where the interviewer requested me to solve a feature relevant to Datadog products. - Design round: Open-ended questions about designing a scalable system. The interviewer focused on tradeoffs, failure scenarios, and deep dive into the system components. - Hiring manager: I was interviewed by an engineering director. I presented a past project with a focus on the challenges faced. Finally, some behavioral questions relative to how you evolve within a team. On each round, I could ask several questions to the interviewer. Each time I got very transparent answers. Also, the people were highly skilled and humble and did their best to make me feel comfortable. The recruiter adapted the process by adding an extra coding round when I completely missed the first one. Finally, she provided me with detailed feedback after each round. To sum up, one of the best-interviewing experiences I had. Even if the process looks long, it is worth it.
One knowledge interview and one technical interview afterwards. Knowledge was fine. During the tech one, the interviewer was not listening. The problem was a standard one. Got rejected after second round.

También discutimos estrategias de despliegue, monitorización y gestión de recursos en la nube utilizando el ecosistema de Azure. Por último, realizamos un ejercicio conversacional sobre buenas prácticas de código y arquitectura. Fue un proceso fluido y el equipo fue muy profesional.
