I contacted DBW as a result of a newspaper ad. From the outset I was impressed with them through phone communications in setting up the interview, and this continued during the face to face where I met with the owners and winemaker. They provided an overview of their needs, their goals and vision, some of the challenges they face both in the short and long term. I think my primary qualifications were my tractor experience, my familiarity with same in mountainous terrain, my proximity to them, and my overall demeanor. The interview was not very technical, but it didn't need to be. I think "fit" was the main purpose.
