I was called by a Human Resource associate after viewing my resume on a job website. She told me I had the qualifications they were looking for and asked if I would be interested in an interview with the DM. Within a few hours I received an email giving me the site where the DM was holding interviews. It was the next day and the site was over an hour away, not to mention I was scheduled to work. They seemed very annoyed i wasn’t willing to stop, drop everything and run for an interview. I should use a vacation day for a job that I wasn’t even looking at.

I filled out an application online and the next day I was contacted by an HR manager for a phone screen with HR and the hiring manager. The phone screen went over the job description in more detail as well as an overview of background. The next step was a morning of interviews with management. The interviews were all very conversational in nature and went over my background and the position in more detail. A good portion of the conversation focused on the direction of the company and how this particular role fit that direction. I explained why I would be a good fit for the role and for David's Bridal and also answered a few situational questions.
