      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Day 8 (Londra, Inghilterra) nel mese di dic 2017

      Disappointing - felt a bit used - One phone interview, one face to face (that lasted 2 1/2 hours) and a task to solve some issues the company was facing and a second interview to present task (one hour).

      The first face to face interview was more a conversation. Lots of questions related to the company and how I would aproach X, Z, Y. Very long but quite normal. I imaginned it took me so long because the person interviwing me keen to hire me. He even said I was the right person and told me all I had to do was to come to a second interview where he would introduce me to the Directors and see their feedback. Later on I received an email requesting me to create a presentation on the business and a second presentation with ideas for some of the challenges the company was facing. I spent a full day coming up with a list of 10 great ideas, including many examples from other companies. After I proudly presented my ideas (only to the person who interviwed me before, no director), I was requested to send my slides via email for reference. I didn’t hear from the company for over three weeks. When I finally got a response, it was an outomatic email from an assistant, thanking me for all my hard work and said that the company decided not to pursue the position at this time. I couldn’t help but feel that I had been somewhat “used” and regretted putting so much time and effort into this homework. it’s also important to be careful how you approach these homework assignments—especially if you’re investing your time into applying to multiple jobs. Stay away from them or give very highlevel ideas.

As I am sure you are aware, the positions we advertise for are very competitive and as such we are not always able to provide specific feedback to all applicants. Additionally, we were lucky enough to be inundated with numerous applicants for the role in question and thus, whilst we attempt to get back to candidates as quickly as reasonably possible, the timeframe for dealing with the applications may have been slightly longer than you had expected.
