I feel like this company has taken advantage of me by using my ideas for their own growth. They gave me not one, but two technical tests. The first was to develop ideas for their event, followed by an interview. After the interview, they still required me to complete another technical test to create a promotional campaign for one of their features.
What’s frustrating is that the second case clearly to addressed a problem they’re currently facing. After submitting both tests, I haven’t received any updates regarding my application for months. I put in significant effort to provide thoughtful solutions to their challenges, and now I feel cheated. They shouldn’t require so many technical tests, especially ones based on real cases, during the recruitment process.
They gave case study from their app.
I answered the case, but never receive any message from them.
Tried to reach them out from their app feature, also no reply.

The interview process took about a few weeks to finish, the recruiter will contact you by Whatsapp and you have to work on a challenge, if you passed then they'll set an interview schedule. I was interviewed by the VP. The next process is One Day with Deall, where they will assign a task for you that you need to finish within the day.
I love that they have clear process, but there are things that can be improved:
1. The interviewer actually quite rude because instead of showing interests in what I have to say and why I'm interested in the company, the interviewer look at their makeup and fixed their hair (which is really obv btw) during the interview.
2. When the task is assigned to me, there are no indication that I have to focus on the technical aspect. My assumption is that they want you to show initiatives but at the same time, it's too broad and I found some issues and decided to focus on that.
3. I asked what are the feedbacks from hiring committee so I can improve myself but haven't heard anything from them since they informed me that they "decided not to hire me because they want to find someone with strong tech knowledge", which I think can be informed to me from the start instead of making me took a day off from work to participate on their 'One Day' assignment, if they wants someone with technical background, they never made it clear when they gave me the assignment.
Summary:
I love that they have clear hiring process. I respect their decision but they have to be clear with their expectations instead of making people work on the assignments. Clearer instructions during One Day with Deall will help a lot, unclear instructions will help applicants to focus on the important aspect of the assignment and by hoping the applicants to have initiatives and show their tech skills without telling them so, will make you missed out on people who has potentials.
