There were a l ot of interviews and the people that interviewed me were first non technical people who did not know about the position and then second they didn't seem to really know the history or future for the company.

The interview process is broken into 3 rounds varying from cultural to technical. Its very informal and the style is "flexible" with the interviewers trying to discover who you are and if you would be a good cultural fit.
