Several separate interviews, in person. All in one day, first with the potential boss' boss, then with the boss, then with a future co-worker about my specific knowledge of the work I'd be doing. A little overwhelming to do it all at once, one after the other, but also nice to get them out of the way.

Mostly it was character and experience questions. How I'd fit it, and what I had done in the past.
That's right - we use a competency based model where we ask people about their past experiences and behaviors. We believe that this helps indicate how people will behave in the future. Congrats on your offer with Dell and thanks for sharing your experience with us!
