      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) nel mese di mar 2015

      Colloquio

Delta interview first start with contact via email. They will provide a link to do a video interview in which you will record yourself answering several questions, then submitting it for review. The next step involves a phone interview. A recruiter will call to verify certain information, ask a few questions, then set up a date for a face to face/group interview. Over the next few days, they will verify your passport information, do a background check and schedule your flight (all free of charge) to Atlanta, Ga. Once in Atlanta, Georgia, you can expect the interview to take about 3-4 hours. First, you will be taken to a room where you will meet with HR and other flight attendants. You should smile and mingle a lot. After a bit, they have you sign some paperwork, then they take you back for your face to face interview. I interviewed with two people that weren't very friendly at all. One person asked three questions and the other person asked three more questions. They ask that you respond to the questions in a certain STAR format. They're very serious about this, so be prepared to give exact examples of situations. Once that part of the interview is over, they bring you back out into a general room where you will wait your turn to be strapped in a seat and made to reach for the stow away cabins to ensure you're tall enough. The group interview was last. We were all brought to a room where a flight attendant described the duties. She made sure to tell us that the ONLY reasons we were there was because we checked two boxes on our application. One being willing to relocate and the other being willing to work holidays. Our interview had absolutely nothing to do with our skills our work history. Once she was done talking, she asked each one of us to stand up front, state our name, where we are from, what we currently do for work, and whether we speak multiple languages. Once everyone finished, we were all shuffled out and sent back to the airport.

I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!

Tell me of a time you had to deal with a difficult customer (Tip -remember your work ethic and history) and why you want to become a Delta Flight Attendant.
