Hello Everyone! Well, I applied as normal and finished my assessment. About six days later, I got the infamous email to set up a Hue video interview, I was super juiced for the email but then I thought, “A VIDEO INTERVIEW!” I’m old school, and I thrive on F2F interview, so this was new to me. I did my research on You Tube, blogs, etc. to find out the interview questions and to get a general idea what to expect. I procreated until my 3rd day (per the email you have 3 days to submit the video) and I did the practice video about 15 times, (to get the correct light, position, check my voice and that my attire looks good). I was sooooo nervous! I felt like to just ran thru the process, but here the questions that were asked... 1. How to deal with a difficult coworker what was the situation, what did you do and what was the outcome. 2. Tell me about a time you went above and beyond 3. Tell me about a time you made a difficult decision without waiting to be told to by a supervisor 4. and 5. I don’t remember (sorry). And then you watch a one minute video about Delta but I was in a Zombie state of mind at that point. I felt like I bombed the interview and felt kind of defended, but I knew I tried my best. I got an email confirming they received my submission. So I went on about my day, since I read somewhere it takes a few days for Delta to reach a decision. This was about 6 am PST. About 2:30pm today, I got an email that I moved closer to the next step!! ( YAY ME) and that I would get a call within 7-to 10 days for a phone interview and to have my passport information ready ( which I don’t have so 10days would give me enough time for my passport to arrive in the mail). Well I was sooo wrong! I got an call from a block number, approx. 7 pm, still the same day, from Delta asking about my passport, and yes sweat was pouring from my temples as I explained I didn’t have my passport …yet but I told her maybe in 3 weeks. She as very cool with it (thank GOD!) and told me to email her when it arrives. BUT she did tell me that that Delta is almost done hiring for the year so sooner the better. So the mail man will not like me too much this week! Wow what an experience! I’m still having flashbacks...LOL. Anyways I hope the helps anyone with some insight about the processes. Good Luck to ALL!
