Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Delta Air Lines (Sacramento, CA) nel mese di ago 2015

      Colloquio

I am so grateful that so many of you posted about your flight attendant application process with Delta Airlines. Majority of it was very accurate right down to the interview questions. Since you all were able to help me out so much through the process (which I'm still going through), I figured I'd return the favor and share my experience so far with someone else who may need it :) So after months of waiting for an opening for a non-bilingual flight attendant, I was finally able to apply on August 9th, 2015. Shortly after that (I think it was the same day) I was e-mailed and instructed to complete a 15-20 minute personality assessment which I completed right away. A little over a week later, August 17th, I received a second e-mail requesting me to take ANOTHER 15-20 minute personality assessment which was pretty similar to the first one. Once that was completed, a link popped up on my Delta Airlines profile (I strongly recommend to constantly check the status of your application on the delta website) to complete my application. I thought that was kind of weird because I thought I had already completed my application but there is two parts to it. The second part consisted of submitting a 10 year work history (with no gaps whatsoever), residence history, and an extensive back ground history. Any kind of arrests or even traffic stops--they want to know about it. It was dreadful but I sucked it up and just completed it the same day. I actually had a few red light violations and a suspended drivers license which I thought may disqualify me but I was still contacted again. Yay! 4 days later, August 21st, I got a third e-mail from HireVue requesting me to complete a digital (video) interview which was one-sided and should be completed within 3 days. I completed it the next day after the e-mail was sent. I was kind of nervous about it because I read a lot of reviews from people who did not make it past the video interview but I decided not to let it get to me. I just made sure to smile big as much as I could throughout the video, and I wrote down a few questions that I found on this site along with my answers. Of course you don't want to look like you're reading something so during the 30 seconds that they give you before you have to record your answer I looked it over. Luckily, most of the questions asked were ones I was already prepared for from doing my research. You do not necessarily have to study prior to the interview but it really made things 10x easier. Make sure to also look right at the camera and add as much personality as possible even if you're nervous. They're just trying to get a good idea of who you are. The whole video interview process took about 30 minutes. After I submitted it, I was sent an e-mail confirming that it had been uploaded and because of the number of application it could take some time to contact me. Well, just 5 days later, August 27th, I received an e-mail saying that I was one step closer and that the next step was to wait for a phone call from Delta recruiting. They said they wanted to ask me a few more questions and that I should have my travel documents handy when they called. The phone call was to happen "within the next week to 10 days" between 9am-9pm. At this point I was so excited yet freaked out because I just ordered my passport a week ago and it wouldn't be here for another 2 weeks or so. I had no idea the application process was going to move along so quickly. Luckily, in the e-mail, they provided me with another e-mail address for people who did not have their passports already. They said to provide the date of when you would have it and they would postpone the phone call. I e-mailed the address provided the same day and they responded back the next day (today) thanking me for the update and let me know that they would go ahead and let me proceed with the phone interview while waiting for my documents. Yay for me again! Instead of 10 days, the e-mail said they would contact me within 5 days. Well so much for a wait. They contacted me TWICE today, August 28th (1 day later), from an "unknown" number---and I missed both calls. Grrrr!! I was so heart-broken when I heard the voicemail saying that it was Delta airlines contacting me and that they would try again another day. I always have my phone on me but the two times that they called happened to be times where I had to step away without it. I'm really sad that that happened. I wish that they could be more specific about the hours they would call. There's a big gap between 9am and 9pm but for the rest of this application process I am making sure to eat, sleep, shower, etc with my phone very close nearby. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that this phone call will lead to the face-to-face interview that I have been hearing so much about. Wish me luck and I'll try to keep you updated!

I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!

I completed my assessment last week, and within the same day of completion, I received a email for the on demand virtual interview. I have the on remand virtual interview to complete. Any tips? What questions did they ask?
