I interviewed with them a month before and they kept telling me they are finishing up interviews. Then they started looking into new candidates. Every week they would ask for one more week, but kept telling me they're still very interested in me. After a month of waiting time after the in-person interview with 6 people, they finally said they have filled all the Marketing roles. Even if I had been chosen, they gave me the impression that I would have been their 2nd or 3rd choice. This may be how some companies work, and although I do appreciate them being up front, certainly you do not let your candidates know this! This is quite different from my experiences when interviewing with other companies where within 5-7 business days you know whether it’s a yes or a no. The interviewers were very nice, company seemed like a great place to be, but the interview process definitely needs fine tuning.
