My first interview was over the phone with someone from HR and that was perfectly fine. Second interview was with the manager for the position who was so rude. He kept interrupting me, mansplained everything, didn’t give me a chance to finish answer questions, and then at the end offered unsolicited “career advice”.

I received a call from an HR assistant who didn't seem to know anything. Asked her what was the compensation for the position and she claimed that she didn't know. I scheduled an interview anyway. The day before the interview I emailed her to confirm if the position was still open. I asked again about compensation and benefits and she told me that was something I needed to ask during the interview. I felt like she was trying to evade a simple question. Why can't they be straight forward with their candidates? I assume they are not straight forward with their own employees. I cancelled the interview.
