      Colloquio per Public Relations Manager

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Design At Work (Houston, TX) nel mese di feb 2017

      Colloquio

The office manager contacted me via email the day after I submitted my resume. She had me write a biography of myself and submit it. Then she called me for a phone interview which lasted an hour. She said they'd like to schedule an interview two days from then. She said I could come late and we could "drink some wine" while I interviewed. Then I didn't hear from her for 3 or 4 days, even when I followed up twice. When she finally wrote me back she said they'd gotten a new client and they'd gotten really busy, but said we'd pick the interview process back up the following week. She gave me two (shoddy) ads they'd done for a client before and told me to make a new over the weekend. I actually made three, and sent them to her on time. Three weeks went by, no response. I tried to follow up a reasonable amount of times and got nothing. I'm almost positive the manager was told to stop speaking to me because of my salary requirements- which were not much at all considering I have 8 years worth of experience. My advice? Real professionals, don't waste your time, it appears they are looking for an inexperienced candidate who will accept less than 40k. Very unprofessional conduct.

I'm am sorry to hear about your experience in the interview process. We take pride in our communication during interviews as we know that a candidate can be eager to know the next steps or outcome. I can assure you it had nothing to do with your salary requirement, as we tell the candidate at the very moment if their request is out of the the range for a position. I apologize for this incident and you not being notified of the outcome once you had taken the time to interview and give samples.
