Had a phone interview with the CTO which was conversational. I was asked the usual questions - 'tell us what you know about deskpro' 'what did you do in your previous role' etc.
Having been successful in the initial phone screening, I was invited to a face-to-face interview with the CEO and head of design. The interview started with me telling them about myself and was followed by my portfolio being pulled up on a screen. I was asked to go through my work and describe my 'process'. Whilst I tried to describe my process to the best of my ability, I was asked whether I had taken part in photoshoots / created illustrations on some of my work - it felt as though there were skills the team wanted but hadn't put on the job description which made me feel somewhat inadequate for the role I had applied for.
