      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Dewynters (Londra, Inghilterra) nel mese di feb 2023

      Colloquio

I applied for the role via LinkedIn. Several days later I received an email from a recruiter inviting me for an initial phone interview. The call was the usual informal chat regarding my experience and why I wanted to work for Dewynters. The call went well and I received an email for a second interview via video with one of the directors at Dewynters. This was a pleasant, informal interview which I enjoyed. The director was very welcoming, interested in my experience, and gave a good overview of the company and the position. Again, this went well so I was invited for a third interview with two other people which was in person at their studio. I had a creative task to complete prior, which was fun and challenging considering the time frame. I attended the third interview in person a day after submitting the task. I thought the interview went well; both interviewers were nice and easy to talk to. I got the impression they liked my submission for the task and were impressed with my experience and desire to work for their agency. I left feeling positive and pretty confident I’d landed the job. A week later I received an email from the recruiter saying I’d been unsuccessful. She stated they enjoyed meeting me and were impressed with my work but would not be progressing any further. No other information was given. The recruiter finished her email with ‘any questions, please ask’. I immediately emailed back asking for some feedback as to why I was unsuccessful but as is the way these days with recruiters and prospective employers, I was ghosted. A pretty disappointing experience overall considering how far I’d gone through the process and how much time I’d spent attending interviews and creating work. I’m not sure if this is down to the recruiters firm or Dewynters. This review would have been negative if it wasn’t for my pleasant experience during the interview process. It would be nice if these recruiters/companies provided detailed feedback for prospective employees when they’ve gone through several stages and tasks of interviews. It doesn’t take long to write a few words on why you were not chosen. I’m sure they’d expect the same if the shoe was on the other foot.
