Overall, the process was smooth until the final stage, where the department head mentioned that I would receive an update within the same week. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them. While the recruiter was accommodating and responsive to my messages, I didn't receive a formal rejection letter until a month later, which was quite disappointing.
