      Ho presentato la mia candidatura di persona. La procedura ha richiesto 8 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Diageo (Belfast, Irlanda del Nord) nel mese di set 2024

      Colloquio

      I applied for the role in early July and had no updates on progression from the initial receipt email, until the second week in September. I was contacted on a Wednesday for interview on friday, the details of the interview process were supposed to be attached to the meeting request however I did not receive the attachment until the morning of the interview. The process was pretty straightforward competency based interview with a two person panel, i learnedcthe names of the panel from the meeting request as they did not introduce themselves or indicated there job roles etc. The questions were taken from a multiple choice script based on how it fitted with the role leading me to wonder if it is always applied consistently. Overall the interviewers were proficient and functional, asking follow up questions as required yet it was clear that neither was from an HR/ recruitment background as I received no information on next steps etc. I made several enquiries with the recruitment department and recieved no response, I can only assume I was unsuccessful. It is sad that a company of this size, that prides itself on being people centred cannot send a simple email to inform candidates they have been unsuccessful and perhaps a bit of feedback from the panel.
