      Colloquio

      The interview process involved: 1) Link to access a live server - solving some ticklish Linux questions in an hour time. It's a mix of Security + Networking + Firewall + Apache + MySQL.. basically, a test to judge your Trueability! Once the ability was tested - 2) Short screening with HR (Elina) - Got to know about HRs gracious nature (1st impression of lovely DO folks), cozy work culture, awesome Remote work environment. She was from Russia, next rounds of interview were going to happen remotely from US, and I was getting hired in India - shows awesome management altogether and how much thought goes into new hires. The round was full of questions about me, why DO, how you got to know about, strength/weakness and so on.. 3) Interview with Hiring Manager 4) Interview with 2 team colleagues, 1:1, and last round with Manager of Customer Success . All the above rounds were a mix of technical + custserv + interpersonal + communication + behavioural skills. Each one is a 30-minute hangout call and went seemingly smoothly. Everyone I interviewed with was very friendly and understanding. Once all cleared - Got an exciting email by HR about the offer. Negotiation: I didn't have to do any - this is what happen when you join an awesome company! Asked my wish and based on the company standards - they've provided the best. The Journey so far is truly awesome and beautiful. Working with classy lovely skilled folks in a cozy awe-inspiring techy slack-y environment my each day in DO has been a beautiful day! My experience has been awesome and I'd recommend people joining the beautiful DO family :)

      Colloquio

      I applied through LinkedIn. They took around 1 month to reach back. The interview process has three rounds in total Written test Technical interview Manager round HR round This took around 1 week and then we started the salary discussion. They prefer someone who can join within a month. But if your interview went great they'll be willing to wait 2 months The company has a really good work culture and is really employee friendly.

      I have been interviewed with many big organization but I would say interviewing at DigitalOcean itself is an excellent experience. HR reached out to me with the online Assessment meeting which had variety of the questions including Customer handling along with Technical ones. After clearing out the Online Assessment, I received the invites for interviews with 2 of the Managers based on technical and Customer handling skills followed with one more round from management personal.
