Applied to an ad on Indeed. A full month later, long after I had forgotten even applying, a recruiter contacted me to set up a phone introduction. On the day of the phone call, just a few hours prior, he emailed me to say that he needed to reschedule because he'd just had a mandatory meeting added to his calendar that conflicted. I said that would be fine but never heard back. I emailed him one last time and again received nothing but silence. I can only assume that the "mandatory meeting" was regarding another round of layoffs. Either that or they really have no idea how to recruit.
