Interview process very fragmented. I'm extending some empathy since one of the coordinators that pinged me for the role was part of the most recent layoffs, but outside of the actual conversation, everything was one-way (and very, very slow): emails, bumps, clarifications, asking if interview was happening since hiring manager was ~10mins late to call. Interview with hiring manager itself was fun, conversational, and felt human!

Standard questions like “Tell me about yourself” and “Why do you want to work at Discord?” It was focused on understanding my background, communication skills, and general alignment with the company and role.
Hiring Manager Interview:
This was a 30-minute video call .

“What do you think makes a good vs. bad PM?”
“What’s your favorite digital consumer product, and why?”
It was a mix of behavioral and product sense questions
