I was initially contacted by an outside recruiter who connected me with HR. Did a phone screening with HR before 4 rounds of interviews, one of which required a day of face-to-face meetings. Overall the entire process from initial contact to final offer took about 6 weeks.

I think it was hard to balance the questions about mobility and learning new things with the clear desire of the department for you to stay in your role long enough to be useful to them.
