The interview process is started after three weeks of application.
Firstly, meet with HR.
Then receive an assignment that requires implementing a project based on Finagle/Thrift. Then meet with two of the engineer of them in order to skill interview.
The interview process took 3 weeks. I receive the final decision 4 weeks later.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Dixa (Copenaghen, Hovedstaden) nel mese di set 2021
Colloquio
The interview process consisted of multiple steps:
- First call with engineering manager: conversational, to get to know each other.
- Programming Assignment: The task was to implement a simple backend service with a corresponding REST API. Depending on familiarity with the used technologies/libraries this takes a couple of hours to a day.
- Interview about the programming assignment: Discussing various aspects of the assignment, both design decisions and code details
- Interview with future team members (tech lead + product manager): discussing personal background/experience and future work
- Personality test: ~30 minutes online personality test - helps Dixa to decide where one fits in best. Received detailed feedback in separate call after I accepted Dixa's offer.
The whole process (first interview until offer) took 3 weeks.
