I was contacted by a recruiter and scheduled a phone interview for the next day. The next day the recruiter emailed to say they extended an offer to another candidate. I don't know why they would contact me for an interview if they were already so far along with another candidate. It's pretty embarrassing when one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing at a company.
