The interviewing process took 5 weeks from start to finish, including 3 presentations. Very time-consuming (preparing presentations, meetings and taking time off work) to hear that, at the last minute, the company decided to pull out the position due to lack of budget allocation. The interviewers were all friendly and accommodating, but I had a feeling that they were more curious to know the way other companies do today (my current role/company) rather than interested in how I as an employee would add value for the company based on my experience and skills. Unfortunately, in the end, the company decided to cut the position due to budget allocation, which I found unfair and frustrating. Please be more clear in your next interviews to avoid putting candidates in such stressful situations during the process if you have no budget to fulfill the position. Also, another tip for your next interviews, please try to show interest in the candidates' previous experiences rather than focus only on how the companies out there work.
