After completing an on-line application (which is the only way Dollar General accepts applications), I received a call from the local store manager about a week later. Went to the store for an interview in the manager's office. It was simple, brief and informal. Basicly just, do you have average intelligence and are you sure you're going to be able to show up for work on time every day?

Very easy and laid back. I only talked to the lead manager. He asked very basic background questions. This was my first job and I think they would hire anyone.
