After completing multiple interview stages, I was scheduled for an in-person interview, only to be told two days beforehand that it was being canceled because “the hiring manager is going in a different direction for the role.” The process then ended with a generic rejection and no feedback. Canceling a late-stage, scheduled interview with such short notice reflects poor communication and little regard for candidates’ time. Overall, a very disappointing and disorganized hiring experience.
