I was contacted by the VP of operations in response to an application. He seemed to like me and set up a more in-depth phone interview with some of the staff. After some emails, we agreed upon a time that I would set aside for the interview. When the day of the interview came, they called at the wrong time, way too early. I mistook the call for a phishing expedition because the first person to responded to my "hello" was someone speaking in broken English asking me who my most recent clients were. He did not introduce himself in any way.I really don't like to give such information out to strangers, so I was standoffish about it and tried to get more information about what this caller was looking for. After about a minute of asking the caller to speak clearly, I hung up. He immediately called back and started repeating "job interview, shall we do it" or something like that. After more confusion, two other people introduced themselves and mentioned "Double Prime". I then realized what was going on. They then said that I didn't meet their requirements and that was that.
This was the most unprofessional interview I've had for a long time. I'm not sure I would want to work for a company that did things like this.
