Despite the level of engagement and time investment required, the process concluded with a generic rejection email with no meaningful feedback nor follow up. At this stage of the process, candidates deserve a higher level of professionalism, transparency, and respect. Especially from a company that claims to honor the candidate experience. The overall experience reflects poorly on the organization’s approach to the candidate experience and raised concerns about consistency, interview practices, and potential discrimination practices. There is a clear an opportunity to improve not only the communication given to candidates but the expectation set. Notably, this process involved both the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition and the Talent Acquisition Manager." This perfectly encapsulated my experience and frustration with the process. This seems to be a designed standard practice based on the consistency of the responses.
