      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Dropoff (Austin, TX) nel mese di giu 2022

      Colloquio

Well first of all, my interviewer was 15-20 minutes late calling me from the initial time we had agreed upon. I was not informed ahead of time, it was only after 10-15 minutes of waiting, I called the interviewer which went straight to VM, and then I called the company to see what was going on. I then received an email from her asking for a little more time as her last interview had gone over - OK, I understand that and was content on waiting for a few more minutes. Then, when she finally did call me she apologized and told me she was running late because of a death at the company... So she told me two completely different stories as to why she was late. Why lie? As for the interview, the interviewer had a friendly tone, but the things she said was not very friendly. She started right off the bat telling me that my experience doesn't really line up with what they're looking for. She told me that I don't really have that much experience for the position they're hiring for. Ok, if that is how you feel, then why did you request an interview with me to begin with?? After her saying that to me, I immediately asked her if, given what she just told me, if I would even be considered since it did not really sound like she was interested in me - and she said along the lines of "well, I want to get to know you a little better"... Ma'am don't waste my time. Based off the attitude you were giving, the answer seems like a hard no. Secondly, when we started talking about the sales metrics I had to hit at my last job, I told her that I had to made at least 100 - 150 calls a day. I gave a range. Then she basically said "Oh, we're looking for someone who made at LEAST 150 calls a day in their previous experience". I explained to her that it varied day by day, but I definitely did hit KPI of 150 most of the time; but she didn't listen and keep hanging off the fact that I said 100 calls (even though, like I said, I gave a range - that hit the metrics of what they were looking for). Another thing she did that I found incredibly rude, is that she tried to persuade me towards another job in their company..... which wouldn't have been so insulting, if the position wasn't so low on the ladder and very low paying! Quite obviously, I applied as an SDR bc I have the experience & it pays well! Trying to persuade me to apply/accept another very low paying position that I would not even be able to support myself on is insulting. Based off her demeanor, I immediately emailed her about half an hour after my interview and informed her that the company would not be a good fit for me and I did not wish to move forward with them.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Tell me about your experience with (prior company)? What were your sales goals? How many calls did you make a day?

Your feedback is appreciated and will certainly allow us to evaluate our recruiting practices. It's unfortunate you had this experience, as it is not indicative of the culture we strive for at Dropoff.
