      Colloquio per Digital Product Lead

      20 nov 2020
      Candidato anonimo a colloquio
      Irvine, CA
      Nessuna offerta
      Esperienza negativa
      Colloquio difficile

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Drybar (Irvine, CA) nel mese di nov 2020

      Colloquio

Started off with a phone call with the recruiter, which was the basic questions on background and experience. What followed was what was supposed to be an hour-long Zoom call with five people. However, it ended up being 35 minutes long with the interviewers showing up 20 minutes late and allowing only 15 minutes to talk. They barely scratched the surface on questions regarding my skills, experience, interest, etc. and jumped right into hard-hitting questions. Which in itself was fine, but (1) they are way out of left field and had little explanation for me to understand if they were looking for basic answers or a scenario-based walkthrough, but it didn't matter because (2), they would cut me off after a sentence or two and move on the next question. At other times, they would just stare at me at which I ask if I needed to be answering, but then they would suddenly pivot to a new question. It was jarring, to say the least. But in opinion, also very rude, unprofessional, and just plain bizarre. . . I feel that they already had someone else in mind and were just going through the motions. Which, usually if I find out I'm not the right candidate, I am okay with. But don't be rude about it, and don't waste my time out of my busy schedule to do a prematurely-ended interview with no ability to answer anything to its full.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

If you were making a booking software and you have just completed the product roadmap for it with the other department heads like IT and marketing and you have reached a consensus - how would you then move that consensus forward? [in those exact words]
