First off, applying for any one station is pointless, you'll have to learn it all eventually. After researching the franchise I was applying for to find the owner, I emailed them a resume and cover letter. I was brought an office with the GM and owner. After a few rounds of questions I was left alone with the GM while the owner filled out some paperwork. After around a minute of silence I figured they probably wanted to see how sociable I was. If you can, don't make the interview just about work. Fit in some chit chat in between IF you can.
