      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 6 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Dycom nel mese di gen 2022

      4 rounds interviews. 1st on-demand - technical questioning 2nd video call with manager and engineer - technically tested by engineer 3rd video call with entire team - technically tested by all team 4th video call with manager, upper management, and executive(s) - 1-2 hour culture fit screening In the end they wanted me to do a 5th interview as a member of upper management wasn't available for the 4th interview. Company was obviously impressed with me and wanted to hire me. 5th interview ended up just being an offer delivered by the upper management I didn't get to interview with yet. After telling me they're incredibly competitive in the market rates, they offered me 15% below the average pay for this role in the U.S. (SCCM Engineer -- if you look up "desktop engineer" a lot of salary sites resolve to desktop support -- e.g. tier 2 help desk which would give inaccurate results/data). I was really excited for this opportunity and I really liked the team. I informed the upper management that I had an offer in hand for that pay but would love to join the company. The upper management scoffed at me - then told me I could "squeeze $1000 more out of them if I'm lucky but between us, this company doesn't negotiate." It was incredibly unprofessional and I immediately felt that I wasn't taken seriously, at all. I was also very surprised that they have a 4-5 step interview process vs the standard 1-2 but do not offer competitive salaries with the market.
