I had an on-site interview followed up with emails asking weird technical questions. They were very skeptical of anything NetSuite related as they have been burned by consultants before. They requested that I do a few day’s worth of work and when I described how I would approach their requests instead of working for free, they seemed dissatisfied. It seemed unprofessional and odd. They gave the appearance that they didn’t really know what they wanted vs what they needed. It turned out that the appearance was actually very accurate.
