Colloquio per Director of Sales (Research)

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso EAB (Washington, DC)

      Colloquio

The process included an initial phone interview with someone who seemed to be asking me form questions. Then two online tests. Then a second phone interview with someone who was a "manager". Then an in person interview that took an entire afternoon. This included a two on one interview. Then some written tests. Then a final one on one interview where you do a presentation. Once I saw the massive cubical farm I knew this was not for me. This was the most impersonal interview process I've ever undergone. It was like being interviewed by robots. The facility is like an institution. I've never been to a facility that has so many interview rooms. I don't entirely understand how much interviewing they do. The people who interviewed me seemed to be following script. I did terrible in the presentation but I blame it on two things. First, it's exceedingly complex for someone who doesn't know the product. Second, I had already decided in my mind that this place was not for me after the first two on one in person interview. I will also point out the chain of command is strange. Director doesn't mean director. Directors I think report to managers. It was all so unclear and nebulous.
