Had a great pre-screen interview with HR, got invited back for a second round which was a behavioral interview, case study and interview and a writing prompt test. Firstly HR sent me a research brief to which my interview was "suppose to be on" about strategic plans for D1 athletic departments but instead it was a case that requires wayyy too much background knowledge of education consulting for an entry level position. My second interviewers could not have been more cold and unhelpful. Was such a bad experience that I wouldnt have even accepted a position if i had been offered, know that those two interviewers would be my coworkers. If you do truly want a job here, read up on their research briefs online.

writing prompt was: The Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Administration and Finance at University A, a large, public university, approached EAB to inform a possible decision to consolidate several academic colleges. Currently, the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, the College of Life Sciences, and the School of Applied Science exist as self-contained academic units; while all three units report to the provost, they are each led by a dean, maintain their own administrative staff, and independently oversee curriculum development and faculty research initiatives.

Reasonable process, I felt as though as steps were appropriate and effectively measured my qualifications. Some interviews were back to back which was a bit exhausting, but overall a good experience.

Tell us about a project that did not go as planned. How did you respond to any failures and what did you take away for future projects?
Interviewer did not call at our scheduled time. No email or follow up on why. It seems that they had filled the position but failed to cancel our interview slot.

The initial interview was easy, however I was told I would be contacted in a week on my application. Instead of reaching out to say that I was denied I have been completely ghosted by the company. I interviewed about three weeks ago I understand that they may have decided to not move forward with my application but to simply leave me hanging is just unprofessional.
