This was perhaps the strangest interview experience of my life. I was given a tour of the facility and was then interviewed by two of the engineers, each of whom were very professional and asked very typical, non-technical questions mainly regarding my background and different projects I had worked on. After the second interview was complete, the owner / president of the company gave me what (I hope) will be the most uncomfortable interview experience I will have in my career. He started off by asking me two non-technical questions about my past work and then asked me who I voted for in the last presidential election. The remainder of the interview was spent with him making his own political persuasion very clear.
