Due to the high volume of calls we receive from applicants, we do encourage in-person interviews. We believe this helps both parties get a better understanding of each other and the role at hand. Typically our interviews last for 15-20 minutes. We work hard to get a good understanding of the interviewee's skill set and their interests in the role, although if the interviewee does not ask questions or contribute to the interview they may run shorter. ELR Media Group compensates all interns with school credit, which is stated on all postings and during the interview. As part of this internship position, maintaining the showroom and helping organize the samples is part of the job. This allows interns to get familiar with the samples so they can help with pulling for different press opportunities. We do not have interns clean the kitchen, as we have hired cleaners that come in each week to do this. We also allow our interns to set their own lunchtime, as we like to be flexible and accommodating.
