The interview process at ENGIE was well-structured and highly professional. It started with an initial HR screening focused on motivation, cultural fit, and understanding of ENGIE’s energy markets and transition strategy.
The second stage was a technical interview with senior traders, where I was assessed on market fundamentals (power, gas, and commodities), risk management concepts, pricing logic, and real trading scenarios. I was asked to explain past trading decisions, P&L drivers, and how I react under market stress.
