The interview process was unlike any other job interview I've had in the past. The CEO, Silka Gonzalez, called me over the phone for the interview. I was expecting HR style questions, maybe some technical questions but after our initial greetings her first and only questions was... "Tell me about your life." I was kind of taken back by the question, since it wasn't what I was expecting. But it turns out that she wanted to see who you are as a person. She wants to know that you are going to bring the same ethics, personality, diversity, honesty, and trustworthiness, to the company to ensure that we have the best team. Of course experience and knowledge is important, but she knows that these things can be learned on the job over time and that you will never stop learning throughout your career, but the one thing that is hard to change is your ethics that you were taught as a kid. She only wants employees who can be trusted and who will do the right thing, which are the most important qualities to have in the cyber security industry. Although a very different interview process, it was one that ended up being really insightful and ended with me thanking my parents for instilling these wonderful traits in me all my life

Process included interviews with leadership and staff. Phone interview was completed first. In-person interviews were completed next. Then I was asked to complete a personality test. Then I completed final interviews.
