I was reached out by a recruiter and wanted to give it a chance to seek new opportunities. During my interview process I have never experienced where they bombarded me nonstop with questions for the whole 90 mins no conversation nothing just non stop QA based on some textbook questions from the second it started till last minute and there was no proper greeting also which I found it very rude. Even though I was able to answer most questions the girl who was interviewing me seem unexperienced herself and was struggling with English therefore I have doubts that she was understanding my answers.
My overall experience answering most questions from my point was good but apparently my answers weren't good enough for their standards? This whole process showed me that EPAM doesn't really care about finding the right candidates, there looking for someone who can answer questions the same way it's written in textbooks so that the interviewer can understand. It felt like they're more so looking for a machine… not a human!

Tell me how would you approach building and testing software from scratch and what tools would you use?
There are 2 technical rounds.The questions asked are reasonably tough but they expect some WORD abbreviations like SOLID seriously????do you think some one knowing the abbreviation would be able to provide value add to the team..

Also rejected me for not answering the difference between Test Plan and Test Strategy(Though I explained the differnce to a decent extent) document..I don't remember when was the last time I had used these docs in this fast Agile paced world.

It was walkin drive at pune location. it had Technical 2 rounds
1 HR. The process was very time consuming as no better coordination. i had to wait for 4 hrs for first round. which frustated.
The interviewer was very rude and not listening to answers. it felt like interogation rather than interview
