First of all, the company posts jobs with the non-legal requirement that candidates must be born in companies with a specific first language. They say no other participants will be considered. This requirement + demanding such information is not legal and you should hire a consultant to no longer pursue such practices. For a magazine that writes so much on discrimination, it's hypocritical. What would be legal would be to require C2 level of a given language, but what you do is not. Although the company gives no feedback and doesn't even confirm if an application was received, which is super disrespectful, I keep on getting their newsletters asking for donations. This is very "interesting," also considering that the average job applicant hasn't received the help that companies received from the German government due to COVID-19.
Needless to say, I canceled my subscription and I won't be reading Exberliner in the future.
