I was interviewed for a position of Accounting manager. One of the key skill they were looking for was having experience in implementing different accounting applications. The interview went well and i was told by the interviewer that she is backing up another person who was busy on other priorities and quarter closing which was quite understandable for me as i m also coming from similar background. They are planning to screen few more people and the will be asked for 2nd level of interview with the other person. Within 30 mins of the interview, i got a standard rejection email that my candidature for this role has been rejected. I was like "WTH???" Upon inquiring, i got to know from HR that they already extended offer to someone who completed 2 rounds of interview. I felt this is unfair! you should give equal opportunity to showcase experience and skillet before making a decision. The way the interviewer was explaining about the work like how manual it is... it is of no surprise that how their accounting team would operate if they have such a disorganized with autocratic leadership in the team. I am not going to apply for any positions anymore.

I applied online and several weeks later HR contacted me and asked me to take an online test which was difficult. When I interviewed there was another mini-test. Two out of three of the interviewees were friendly but they all complained about the corporate culture. Apparently flex hours and telecommuting are frowned upon; HR takes months to approve hiring for a position, even if it's a replacement position; and reported hours worked were long. Be prepared to answer a lot of "name a time when" questions.
