Fast, on site, they gave me lunch, I met the team and had a tour of the office. The HR team was friendly and the interview team knowledgeable . The team kept a tight schedule and I was there for 4 - 5 hours.

I spent 5 hours at Ecosense Los Angeles interviewing with several team members separately for an engineering role. Everyone was very friendly, bright, and seemed to love working there. The office is very small and cramped (long tables with employees and executives sitting side by side working on computer monitors). The interviews were going well and the questions were not difficult or necessarily technical. Several of the interviewers mentioned that they work alot, but also said they have the flexibility to take days off whenever they need, and the ability to work from home every week. By the time it was noon I was given lunch and 15 minutes to eat *alone* in the same room I had been interviewing in. To me this said alot about the company culture. One of my interviewers (an adjacent engineer at the same level) asked me questions about my salary expectation, and it was clear he was curious what the job pays compared to his own salary (as I had already told HR my salary expectations over the phone). Team members should not ask for your salary range, only HR or the hiring manager. I thought this was very unprofessional. After the interview I followed up for 2 months before HR stopped replying to my emails altogether, without even the professional courtesy of a brief rejection email.
